On September 13-14, a conference called "Role of genetic resources of animals in ensuring food security and improving animal husbandry" will be held online in an online format, with the participation of representatives of the countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Countries active in the field of agriculture.
The event is aimed at assessing the current state of animal genetic resources management and agricultural animal genetic resources in OIC member countries. The event also provides a platform for experts from member countries to exchange experience and review projects, conduct joint research activities.
It should be noted that on the first day of the conference, the director of the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor Mahir Hajiyev also delivered a wide presentation material and a report.
