A new project on the preparation and use of organic fertilizer - compost has been launched at SRIAH

A new project on the preparation and use of organic fertilizer - compost has been launched at the institute within the framework of the scientific and technical cooperation agreement concluded between the Animal Husbandry Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation "Inter Bolt Service" company. Selection of materials for compost, canning using reagents, scientific research of the constituent components of the grown product, laboratory analysis and testing of the effect on the enrichment of the soil composition and the development of plants during the use of the finished product continue successfully.
Compost is very rich in valuable microflora. All nutrients (organic compounds and minerals) in its composition become easier and faster for plants to absorb. Prevents plant diseases and significantly affects crop growth.
The positive effect of organic-mineral fertilizer on soil and plants:
- By enriching the humus content of the soil, it increases its productivity;
- Improves soil bioactivity and humification process;
- Activates soil microflora;
- Improves soil water balance and structure;
- Connects heavy metals and radionuclides;
- Accelerates the self-recovery process of the soil;
- It is used as a preparation for soil re-cultivation;
- Improves absorption of nutrients in plants;
- Accelerates metabolism and photosynthesis;
- Strengthens the immune system of plants;
- Strengthens the development of the root system;
- Stimulates the secretion of phytolexins;
- Increases the sales value of herbal products.
In addition to all this, organic-mineral fertilizers are used in the process of disposal of animal waste, as biostimulants in animals by adding biologically active feed additives, etc. widely applied in fields.
