On July 30, the participants of the summer school in the framework of the " Agriculture of Tomorrow " Summer School project, organized by the "Agrarian Development Volunteers" Organization, in cooperation with the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, visited the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute.

Mahir Hajiyev, director of the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute, told the students that to achieve the institute's functioning as a genetic center, to prepare special recovery programs for the preservation of the gene pool, to improve the technology of preparing and feeding animal fodder, to breed high-yielding breeds of animals, birds, bees and silkworms in accordance with modern requirements. as a result of its creation, providing farmers with breeding material, organizing consulting services in livestock and poultry farms, etc. are the main goals ahead.

The students got acquainted with the laboratories and livestock complex operating in the institute. The questions that interested them were clarified by the experts of the institute.
