Seasonal deworming measures against worms were carried out in small cattle

In accordance with the seasonal action plan, a deworming event was carried out among small-horned animals by our specialists at the Auxiliary Experimental Farm of SRİAH.
In general, all types of farm animals should be dewormed twice a year (spring/autumn). Helminths (worms), which cause serious complications in small-horned animals in particular, can result in death in infants and the elderly. Depending on what type of worm the preventive measure is carried out, the amount of drugs and the interval of re-administration varies.
In addition to agricultural animals, other farm animals (dogs, cats, horses, mules, etc.) should be involved in deworming at the same time. As we know, dogs and cats play the role of intermediate hosts of many helminth pathogens.
We must not forget that many helminthiasis also infect people.
