On December 1-2, 2022, more than 40 public, private and public sector representatives, farmers and technicians from 19 countries, jointly organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Czech Ministry of Agriculture, in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, as well as with the participation of state officials, a seminar was held on the topic "Exchange of experience among small entrepreneurs related to animal husbandry activities".
During the seminar, participants from Azerbaijan, Albania, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed the current state of animal husbandry, development prospects, application of new technologies to this sector, sustainable development strategies in this area, interest of entrepreneurs in this area, animal husbandry activities, etc. made presentations on topics.
Later, the participants of the seminar were informed about the projects implemented by FAO in the field of animal husbandry and planned to be implemented in the future.
Then, group work was conducted among the groups participating in the seminar.
It should be noted that the delegation representing our country in the seminar was attended by Tarlan Askerov, the sector head of the "Organization and Monitoring of Livestock" department of the Ministry of Agriculture, and Farid Dunyamaliyev, the deputy director of the Ministry's Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry for general affairs.
