The seminar on the application of non-traditional feeding in animal husbandry has started at the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute

At the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Center for Agrarian Science and Innovation, the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Gilan Holding, Agdash Feed Factory, the Ganja Agribusiness Association, the Institute of Genetic Resources and the Veterinary Research Institute The seminar "Application of non-traditional feeding in animal husbandry" has started its work.

Asaf Omarov, Head of the Animal Husbandry Organization and Identification Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rafael Guliyev, Head of the Plant Breeding Organization and Monitoring Department, Huseyn Gojamanov, Director of GP Stock Feed LLC, Mahir Hajiyev, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, foreign and local experts, 80 from 19 districts attended the seminar. more than farmers participated.

Mahir Hajiyev, director of the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, said that the increase in the number of animals, the decrease of the pasture area in the republic, and the small amount of fodder plants lead to difficulties for farmers in the winter season. For this purpose, the feed factories operating in the republic are increasing. This means strengthening the fodder base. Our direction and working principle is to establish the working principle of scientific research institutions related to farmers, thereby promoting the latest results of science to farmers.

In the seminar, "Correct breeding of calves is a guarantee of high productivity of cows", "Poisoning of agricultural animals with feed and measures to combat it", "Causes and prevention of diseases caused by feeding", "Risk and control of feeding toxins", "Used in non-traditional feeding in animal husbandry" Genetic diversity of fodder plants and prospective plans", "Importance of bioactive substances in improving the quality of egg products", "Results of applying premixes to rationals" and other topics were heard.

It was also emphasized that 88 percent of the demand for meat and dairy products is met in our country, the application of new methods and non-traditional ways of feeding were explained.

Questions of interest to farmers were answered by specialists at the event, which took place in the conditions of a wide discussion.
