A visit was conducted to assess the spread area of Karadolak sheep and to determine the exact number of heads in the livestock enterprises engaged in sheep farming in Agjabadi district. Karadolak sheep are widely spread in Hacibedelli village, Karadolak village, Yeni Karadolak village, Jafarbayli village, as well as generally in other villages in the district.

The main purpose of the visit was to confirm Karadolak sheep as a breed for the future. For this purpose, the sheep were evaluated, body measurements (shoulder height, sacrum height, depth of chest, body length, body girth, etc.) were taken, and productivity indicators (live weight, wool, milk, and breeding capability) were noted. As a result of the evaluation, it was determined that the sheep in the observed flocks meet the requirements of the Karadolak type, carrying the same characteristics.
