On May 14, 2024, the "Presentation of Breeding Programs in Poultry Farming Prepared by Czech Experts" event was organized jointly by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, and the Czech company “CZ Dominant Genetika.”
The event was opened with a welcome speech by the institute's director, Mahir Hajiyev, who spoke about the current state of poultry farming in the country, the importance of breeding poultry, and the necessity of learning from international experiences in this field.
Following this, the director of “Müsüslü Quşçuluq” LLC, Qiyas Huseynov, gave a speech about the activities conducted in his farm, the various chicken breeds raised there, and their breeding characteristics.
Next, independent poultry expert Ilham Yaqubov emphasized the importance of the event and discussed methods for maintaining the genetic health of breeding birds and the selection and raising of highly productive breeding birds.
Finally, the head of the Czech Republic's “CZ Dominant Genetika” company, Milan Tyller, was given the floor for his speech and presentation. Milan Tyller first greeted the event participants and expressed his pleasure in being in the country and participating in such an important event. He provided information about “CZ Dominant Genetika,” stating that the company specializes in breeding productive poultry breeds for egg-laying and mixed purposes, and that the breeding programs prepared by their experts are presented to both local and global markets.
Following this, Milan Tyller conducted a presentation on the breeding programs in poultry farming prepared by Czech experts.
At the end of the event, questions from the participants were clarified, and an extensive discussion was held. After the event, various breeds of breeding poultry raised at the institute's poultry farm were showcased to Milan Tyller.
