The delegation led by the director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, corresponding member of ANAS, Zeynal Akparov, visited the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry. During the meeting, information was provided on the material and technical base of HETI, laboratories equipped with modern equipment and services provided to farmers.
At the same time, the mulberry gene pool and various plant varieties were inspected at the "Beekeeping Center" of HETI, located in Fakhralı village, Goranboy district, and information was provided on the research works conducted in this field.
A decision was made to conduct a joint project and research work to preserve the mulberry gene pool in the future.
