The visiting mission of Azerbaijani experts visited the Czech Republic on May 23-26, 2022.
The main purpose of the mission was meeting with the representatives of the Holstein Association of the Czech Republic regarding the export of breeding seeds and the organization of the breeding farm. Here, the experts of the Visiting Mission got acquainted with the breeding rules of breeding animals, the basic principles of the operation of the breeding farm and seed production, the rules and organization of genetic analyzes in the Holstein Association. The experts were also given extensive information on the production, processing rules and study of the export potential of milk from Holstein breeds. During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening future relations, organizing and conducting joint scientific research. The experts of the visiting mission also got acquainted with the rules of identification of animals and reviewed the preparation of ear tags.
Later, the visiting mission visited the "Natural Farm" located in Gradishtko and inspected the breeding bulls raised there. The experts were informed about the rules of keeping, feeding and breeding of breeding bulls.
The experts of the visiting mission then visited the genetic laboratory of the Animal Sciences Scientific Research Institute operating in the Czech Republic, where they got acquainted with the laboratory equipment and the work done there. Later, they visited the 400-head milking cow farm, deer breeding, poultry farming, and pig breeding farm near the institute.
Then the experts of the Visiting Mission visited the family-farms in the city of Olomouc. During the meeting here, extensive discussions were held about the importance of agro-tourism and ways of development.
It should be noted that Sarvan Jafarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mahir Hajiyev, Director of the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute, were among the experts of the Visiting Mission.
