The presentation ceremony of the green fodder production complex project was held.
On November 11, 2021, the presentation of the "Green fodder production complex" project was held at the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the meeting attended by more than 120 farmers, devices such as "Agro-drone" and "Robotic platform (Agro-robot)" were demonstrated, along with a device that produces green fodder.
It was noted that based on the cooperation between the Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute and "IDRAK Technological Transfer" LLC, the device-container that produced green fodder using the hydroponic method, developed and put into use by "IDRAK Technological Transfer" LLC, was brought to the Livestock Science and Research Institute for the purpose of testing. At present, the employees of the Institute's "Feeding, Feeds and Feed Additives Analysis" laboratory have conducted tests in the container.
At the event, Mahir Hajiyev, director of Animal Husbandry Scientific Research Institute, Akbar Abbasov, director of Agrarian Innovation Center, Rizvan Osmanov, project manager of Idrak Technological Transfer LLC, "Green fodder production complex by hydroponic method", made a speech and stated that in order to ensure the intensity of animal husbandry in a closed mode, an alternative feed base is needed. finding, the deterioration of grazing conditions due to the violation of the ecological condition of pastures worldwide, as a result of which the nutritional needs of animals are not met, led to the discovery of green fodder technology. Currently, finding alternative fodder sources, fodder production without using crop rotation is in the attention of all countries of the world: "Green fodder production by industrial method is possible in all seasons of the year. It is a continuous process. This technology makes it possible to provide strong feeding, especially for dairy animals, in the required ration throughout the year. Our short-term experiments suggest that this feed increases milk yield in dairy animals by 12-15 percent.
The event continued in the form of a discussion and the questions of the farmers were answered.
